Cotton-Rich Sherpa

At 80% cotton, our fleece is unusually soft and breathable for a winter jacket. Most sherpa on the market is fully synthetic; ours keeps cotton against your skin, so it feels gentle rather than plasticky, and doesn't get stuffy when you come indoors.

The remaining 20% is there for a reason. Synthetic fibres hold the deep pile in shape, help the jacket dry faster after snow or rain, and keep the printed landscape crisp through repeated washing.

Why not 100% cotton?

It's easy to assume a jacket has to be entirely natural to count as good quality. In practice a small amount of synthetic fibre makes it a better jacket. Pure cotton pile flattens with wear, stretches at the cuffs and hem, and soaks up moisture that then takes a long time to dry, which is exactly what you don't want on a cold day. Keeping it to 20% preserves the soft, natural feel of cotton while adding the shape retention, quick drying and colour hold that get you through several winters instead of one.

Care

Looking after your Nordic Jackets sherpa keeps the pile deep, the colours bright and the fit true. A few simple habits are all it takes.

• Machine wash cold, at or below 30°C / 86°F, on a gentle cycle
• Turn it inside out and close the zip before washing, to protect the print
• Wash with similar colours, using a mild detergent
• No bleach and no fabric softener, which coats the fibres and flattens the pile
• Do not tumble dry
• Dry flat, away from radiators and direct sun
• Do not iron
• Shake it out once dry to lift the pile back up

Shipping & returns

Nordic Jackets ships across the European Union and the United Kingdom. Delivery is handled by local postal and courier services, so your jacket arrives with the carrier you already know.

How to return a jacket

You have 30 days from receiving your order to send it back. EU and UK customers also have the legal right to cancel within 14 days, no reason needed.

1. Email us first at contact@nordicjacket.com with your order number, and we'll send you return instructions and a return label.
2. Write your name and order number clearly on the outside of the parcel so we can match it to your order as soon as it lands.
3. Use a trackable service and keep your receipt until the refund appears, so the parcel can be traced if anything goes astray.
4. Pack the jacket as you received it, unworn and with tags attached, in its original packaging.

Every Nordic Jackets comes in ONE SIZE, cut with a relaxed, oversized shape. The idea is simple: room to pull it on over a jumper, dropped shoulders for an easy line, and a curved hem that sits at the hip.
